Salt, Earth & Colour brings together works where salt, water, minerals and light have transformed the landscape into colour and pattern.
These are the images where I looked down from the air and could hardly believe the colours were real — gold, ochre, green, bronze, yellow, white, soft pinks and earthy browns. What might look practical, dry or ordinary from the ground became something completely different from above.
I love the contrast in these works. Some have strong lines and geometric shapes. Others are full of cracks, textures and natural marks. But they all come from the same excitement for me — seeing the land turn into colour.
