Pastel Shore immediately caught me because of that wonderful sweep of blue against the softer earth tones.
From above, the shoreline becomes almost unrecognisable. Pale blue and lavender curve through blush pink, sand and muted gold, while the cracked earth creates another layer of delicate pattern and texture. I particularly love the little pieces of timber sitting within the landscape—they give just the slightest hint of scale amongst all that abstraction.
Colour is always where I start, and this landscape had such an unexpected combination. Once I had seen the colour, I started discovering everything else: the fine cracks, subtle changes in tone and the way the blue seems to gently wrap around the earth.

Interior Design Suggestions
Pastel Shore has one of the gentlest palettes in the Painted Earth series. The combination of powder blue, lavender, blush, sand and muted gold gives it colour while still feeling very calm.
It would work beautifully with warm whites, pale oak, linen, natural stone and other soft neutral finishes. I can see this particularly well in a bedroom, living room or coastal interior where you want something contemporary without introducing strong or dominating colour.
At a larger scale, the sweeping blue shoreline becomes the dominant feature from across the room. Move closer and the cracks and tiny variations across the earth begin to emerge.
