Rush has a completely different energy to some of the quieter images in this series.
The blue seems to surge diagonally through the frame, moving from deep cobalt into softer blues, lavender and those small areas of creamy yellow. There is a real sense of movement in it, even though what I photographed was simply the landscape below me.
And then there are the birds. I love how tiny they are within all that colour. You could almost miss them.
This is what keeps drawing me back to aerial photography. From above, scale disappears and the landscape becomes something else entirely — colour, texture and movement.

Interior Design Suggestions
Rush has a stronger sense of movement than the other works in Blue Awakening, making it a natural feature piece.
The dominant cobalt and cornflower blues would work particularly well against warm white, pale grey, natural stone and light timber. The softer lavender and cream tones give it enough warmth to sit comfortably within a neutral interior.
This is another image I would print large. The diagonal movement gives it presence across a wide wall without the composition becoming visually heavy.
For commercial interiors, Rush would work particularly well in hotel, hospitality, reception, wellness and corporate environments. It could also be combined with quieter works from Blue Awakening to create a larger installation where the palette remains consistent but the energy changes from image to image.
