Indigo Bloom feels as though the colour is spreading across the landscape.
The intense indigo was what caught me first, but I love what happens around it just as much. The blue gradually softens into lavender, pale yellow and almost silvery areas, with no hard boundary between any of them.
From above, the landscape has lost almost all sense of scale. It could be water, pigment or paint spreading across a surface. Then you notice the tiny birds and suddenly the landscape reveals itself again.
That contrast between something so enormous and something so delicate is one of the things I love about aerial photography.

Interior Design Suggestions
Indigo Bloom has a beautiful balance between strong colour and softer pastel tones.
The indigo gives it depth, while the lavender, powder blue, cream and pale yellow make it surprisingly easy to place in an interior. It would work particularly well with warm white, natural stone, pale timber, soft grey, linen and other neutral finishes.
I would love to see this printed large. The simplicity of the composition gives it room to breathe, while the detail becomes increasingly apparent as you move closer.
For commercial interiors, it would suit hotels, reception areas, wellness spaces, corporate environments and hospitality projects. It can also be paired with other works from Blue Awakening to create a larger installation with a consistent colour palette without simply repeating the same image.
