When I look at this image it makes me smile because the little plane gives the whole scene such a sense of scale.
From the air, the salt fields were already incredible — huge soft panels of green, blue, pink and cream divided by roads and channels. Then the tiny plane appeared, and suddenly the scale of the landscape became clear.
