Carved into Iceland’s frozen heart, Frozen Thunder captures the extraordinary force and stillness of Aldeyjarfoss in the depths of winter. Basalt columns rise like cathedral pipes, each one encrusted with snow and ice, while the glacial water barrels over the edge and fans out in ghostly motion. The contrast of raw volcanic rock and frozen delicacy is breathtaking—and deeply elemental.
In the home, this piece makes a refined and dramatic statement. Its striking cool palette of blue ice, charcoal rock, and soft white draws the eye and quiets the mind. It’s perfect above a fireplace, in a hallway flooded with natural light, or as a crisp centrepiece in a modern office. It pairs beautifully with monochrome decor, raw timber, charcoal linen, or even blush-toned accents for contrast. Let this frozen cathedral speak.

Every artwork is individually produced to order rather than held as pre-printed stock. I want each piece made specifically for the person and space it is going to.
Rolled Fine Art Prints are produced on archival fine art photographic paper using archival pigment inks, finished with a white border and personally signed by me. They are carefully rolled for safe delivery.
Framed Fine Art Prints are professionally framed behind glazing, with a choice of white, black or timber framing to suit the artwork and your space.
I can also arrange canvas, ChromaLuxe metal and facemount acrylic for selected works, as well as custom and large-scale sizes. Please contact me and I can help work out the right presentation for your space.
As each artwork is made to order, please allow up to six weeks for production and delivery.
